From what I can tell, this is a 3-5/1 ratio of the oil blended with sweet almond oil, which is what you want after all. It's less expensive, and ready to go. Even though the straight oil is expensive, a small bottle will last quite a while, but I don't have too many recipes that call for it; that's why I buy the blended product. If your recipe calls for 3 drops of straight oil, use 30-35 drops of this (basically a 10:1 ratio).From what I can tell, this is a 3-5/1 ratio of the oil blended with sweet almond oil, which is what you want after all. Took the plunge and wasvery pleased
I am relatively new to Eseential Oils(E.O.'s). I took the plunge with Doterra. They ARE good BUT since they are like a Shaklee company are priced high. I then discovered NOW at our local Health Store and I was very impressed with the quality and reasonable price. Then somehow stumbled onto Piping Rock. I had ordered their vitamins and was impressed with the quality and price. So I looked into their E.O.'s and was willing to take a try at it.. Well I had ordered 8 of them. Once they arrived I used them in the diffusers I have set up in 3 of the rooms in the house. Well I was very pleasantly impressed. I can heartily recommend them !! They give off a very pleasant aroma we got lots of compliments over Thanksgiving. They diffuse wonderfully and I compliment Piping Rock on a great product at a reasonable price. Being a blend, it's not strong enough to scent a cold process soap on it's own, but when used in conjunction with other essential oils, it's lovely.
